Norriseal and Integrated Trade Systems recently signed a framework agreement for establishing the conditions for the potential supply of goods to Petróleos Mexicanos and its subsidiary entities (PEMEX). The agreement includes 500 part numbers of assemblies and spare parts spanning all Norriseal valve, control and butterfly valve product lines.
The agreement was established to provide a streamlined method, in strict compliance to applicable law, to support the large installed Norriseal product base in Mexico with replacement equipment and spare parts. The arrangement allows any PEMEX operator to access the ITS website and search for an assembly or component by part number or description and view the negotiated price and lead time. The procedure promises to improve the efficiency, accuracy and delivery times associated with Norriseal parts procurement.
According to Norriseal Director of Operations Patricia Lewis, "The Framework Agreement is another way in which Norriseal demonstrates to PEMEX our commitment to provide after-sale support to the installed base. It also signifies our keen interest to continue building a strong relationship founded in service to the customer."
Longstanding Relationship
Norriseal products were introduced into Mexico's northern gas fields more than 20 years ago. Norriseal's continued focus on expansion in Mexico over the last decade has resulted in product installations throughout PEMEX Northern and Southern regions, as well as in offshore and marine applications. Operating through its network of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), representatives and distributors, Norriseal currently exports over $1.5 million worth of products into Mexico annually.
